All of our nurses have experience in one of the following departments- Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby Postpartum, PEDS, & NICU. They have their BLS, maintain their CPR certification and have passed a criminal background check. Most of our nurses have one of the following certifications - PEARS, PALS, or NRP. The management team personally interviews each RN and ensures each one is a strong fit for the company.

SARA MILLER
BSN, RN
Originally from West Virginia, Sara earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University (go Mountaineers!) and has been a registered nurse for over 8 years. Her clinical background includes Pediatric Intensive Care and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in caring for little ones and supporting families through challenging times.
Since moving to Florida in October 2020, Sara has embraced the sunshine, good coffee, and the chance to spend more time outdoors. In her free time, she loves traveling, making memories with friends and family, and hanging out with her two lovable dogs.
She’s incredibly excited to bring her pediatric experience, calming presence, and passion for helping new parents into this next chapter. She understands how overwhelming those first few weeks can be and is thrilled to be offering support, rest, and reassurance to growing families during such a special time. She’s honored to help families rest easy—one peaceful night at a time.

ANAIS BAEZ
BSN, RN, NRP, PALS
Anais is originally from Puerto Rico but has lived in Florida since she was a child. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. She completed her BSN in 2022 where she then started off in the NICU as a new grad and loves teaching parents how to take care of their babies. She has been a NICU RN for almost three years. Each day is a learning experience! She takes time to understand each baby and help their parents gain confidence while caring for their little ones.
On her free time, Anais loves to go to amusement parks with her friends and family, spend time with her cat and two dogs, and read. She is excited to help families adjust to having a brand new baby in their homes while also ensuring families get the support they need.

ALEXIA CRUZ
BSN, RN
Meet Alexia — a dedicated and compassionate pediatric emergency nurse with a deep commitment to caring for infants, children, and their families during some of life’s most critical moments. With over six years of experience working night shifts, she has developed a remarkable ability to remain calm, focused, and present under pressure.
In addition to her work in pediatric emergency care, Alexia is cross-trained in the NICU, which has enriched her understanding of neonatal care and equipped her to confidently care for even the most medically fragile infants.
She brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion to every shift, always prioritizing safety, emotional support, and family-centered care. Alexia’s mission is to ensure that every family she serves feels seen, supported, and comforted throughout their healthcare journey.

LAUREN MIGUEZ
BSN, RN
Lauren is a dedicated postpartum nurse with nearly five years of experience helping new families navigate the early days of parenthood. Originally from Pennsylvania, she’s called the Naples area home since 1999. Known for her warm approach and expert guidance, Lauren’s favorite part of her role has always been bonding parents with their newborns—and sneaking in the occasional baby cuddle. She also has hands-on experience in lactation support and is currently studying to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). When she’s not supporting new families, Lauren is busy chasing after her three sons and doting on her two beloved cats.

KALLIE FRANDSEN
BSN, RN, IBCLC
Kallie has been a registered nurse since 2015, specializing in women’s health, labor and delivery, and postpartum care, and has called Sarasota home for years. She loves helping parents feel confident and supported while caring for their newborns. Kallie is also a proud mom of a teenage son and a 9-year-old daughter. In her free time, she can be found at the beach, trying out new restaurants, or going on adventures with her family. Kallie knows how important rest and reassurance are for new parents, and she’s excited to bring her calm, caring presence to help your family through this special time.

MELISSA PORTUONDO
BSN, RN, PALS
Melissa grew up in the close-knit community of Southwest Florida, where her love for family, animals, and books first took root. A proud mom and devoted dog lover, she has a natural gift for connecting with children. For more than 20 years, Melissa has dedicated her career to a children's hospital, serving as a pediatric nurse for over 15 of those years. She has cared for patients from newborns to teens, bringing compassion, skill, and warmth to every family she meets. Her greatest joy comes from making a difference in the lives of children and helping them feel safe, cared for, and valued.

kristin baker
BSN, RN
Kristin has always had a passion for caring for babies and children. She graduated from college and got her first nursing job working in the NICU at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Northside delivers 17,000 babies a year and has a 135 bed Level III NICU. Kristin and her family have lived in Georgia, New Mexico, Maryland and now Tampa, Florida. Kristin and her husband have two teenage kids, a son in high school and a daughter in middle school. Kristin is thrilled to be a part of Happy Baby Night Nurses. She looks forward to caring for your precious newborn and providing many new parents a restful night of sleep.

ASHLEY MOLINARO
BSN, RN
iAshley is a dedicated and passionate registered nurse with a strong background in neonatal care. Originally from New Jersey, she has resided in Riverview, Florida, since 2011. A proud mother of three children, ages 13, 17, and 22, she developed a deep passion for caring for NICU babies after her youngest, a preemie, received care in the NICU.
She earned her nursing degree from Rasmussen’s nursing program in 2016 and went on to work for six years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In addition to her NICU experience, she has also worked in mobile IV therapy with Reset IV in Tampa.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys swimming, spending time at the beach, going on walks or bike rides, attending church, and being with her loved ones. Her true passion lies in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to her patients, and she feels honored to have the opportunity to care for families’ most precious little ones.

sabrina thornburg
BSN, RN
Sabrina is a compassionate and caring nurse with experience in the hospital on the Mother/Baby floor. She is skilled in practicing safe sleep methods and providing gentle overnight care so parents can sleep soundly through the night. She takes pride in supporting families during the newborn stage by offering both expert clinical knowledge and nurturing reassurance. With her calm demeanor and attentive presence, she helps ease the transition into parenthood. Sabrina is passionate about creating a safe, restful environment for babies and peace of mind for parents.

TAMMY dammeyer
BSN, RN
Tammy is a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse, wife, mother of two daughters, and Gma to her two-year-old granddaughter who has her heart. Tammy is originally from Ohio, she earned her Associates degree in Nursing from Fortis College in Centerville Ohio, in November 2017. She started her nursing career at Dayton Children’s Hospital in December 2017 working in the TCU with chronically ill babies and children and established long term relationships with the families and children she cared
for. While working full-time at Dayton Children’s Hospital, she completed for Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing online thru Colorado Technical University. Tammy moved to Lakeland Florida with her husband in September 2022 and pursued travel nursing in California and Arizona before taking a full-time position in the Pediatrics/PICU unit at Lakeland Regional Hospital. Tammy also gets the opportunity to float to the NICU and Mother-Baby units at the hospital to help care for newborns. Tammy loves football (Go Buckeyes and Go Chiefs), reading, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

A Registered Nurse with 8 years experience in labor and delivery, mother-baby care; and over 21 years of caring for her medically fragile son, Laura brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and whole hearted empathy to her care.
As a wife , mother of five and a newly grandmother, her experiences have deepened her commitment to compassionate family-centered care.
She enjoys spending time with her family and with horses.
Laura looks forward to blessing parents with restful sleep while taking loving care of their new little ones.
