All of our nurses have experience in one of the following departments- Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby Postpartum, PEDS, & NICU. They have their BLS, maintain their CPR certification and have passed a criminal background check. Most of our nurses have one of the following certifications - PEARS, PALS, or NRP. The management team personally interviews each RN and ensures each one is a strong fit for the company.

MELISSA DELBEATO
BSN, RN, NRP
Melissa is originally from Omaha, Nebraska where she received her first two degrees a BA in French and a MS in Management information Systems. To gain greater fulfillment in her career, she moved to Orlando, FL in 2016 and began nursing school in which she completed her ASN in 2022 and BSN from UCF shortly thereafter. She began working on her dream unit in the NICU for the last two years which has been a rewarding and challenging experience.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys collecting plants, traveling, and trying new cuisine. She is passionate about patient advocacy especially involving women and children. Melissa is excited to help families adjust to life at home after birth and give each family some much needed rest and support with their new little one.

SONIA PIERRE
BSN, RN, PALS
Sonia currently works as a Labor & Delivery nurse at UCF Lake Nona Hospital. She is a dedicated and compassionate labor and delivery nurse known for her unwavering commitment to supporting families during one of the most transformative moments of their lives. With a career spanning over 2 years in the field of direct nursing care and over 7 years in healthcare altogether, she has developed a profound expertise in maternal and neonatal care, making her an invaluable asset to the healthcare community. From an early age, Sonia was drawn to the idea of helping others and making a meaningful impact in their lives. This passion led her to pursue a degree in nursing at Rasmussen University and plans to pursue her MSN as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Upon completing her education, she chose to specialize in labor and delivery, a decision inspired by her desire to provide care and support to expectant mothers and their families. Throughout her career, Sonia has worked in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, in her community, ALF, nursing homes, offices, and cancer centers, where she has honed her skills in prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care. Her clinical expertise is complemented by her natural ability to connect with patients, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the birthing process. Recognized for her compassionate approach, Sonia believes in treating each patient with dignity and respect, tailoring her care to meet the individual needs of each family. She takes pride in her role as both a caregiver and an educator, guiding parents through the complexities of labor and delivery while fostering a supportive environment. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Sonia is an advocate for maternal health, actively engaging in community outreach programs that educate expectant parents about childbirth and postpartum care. Her commitment extends beyond the hospital, as she often shares her expertise through meeting with families in her immediate community and church community (bilingual in her primary language of English & Creole), aiming to empower families with knowledge and confidence. Outside of her professional life, Sonia enjoys making treats, working out, and meeting with friends and families, believing that a balanced life contributes to her effectiveness as a caregiver. She is also a proud member of AWHONN, where she stays updated on the latest advancements in labor and delivery nursing. Sonia continues to inspire and nurture those around her, making a lasting impact on the lives of families as they embark on their journey into parenthood. Her passion for nursing and dedication to her patients exemplify the heart of what it means to be a labor and delivery nurse.

JENNIFER BARTALOT
BSN, RN
Jennifer Bartalot is deeply passionate about caring for women and babies—a calling that transcends her career to become her life’s purpose. From the moment she entered the world of maternal and infant care, Jennifer knew she had found her true place. DONNI ALVARENGA
MSN, CNP
For new parents seeking a restful night, Donni Alvarenga provides expert and compassionate overnight care. As a pediatric nurse practitioner with years of experience in newborn care, including hospital rounds and after-hours support, Donni understands the anxieties and questions that come with parenthood. Her calming presence and wealth of knowledge will reassure you that your baby is receiving the best possible care. With a special interest in breastfeeding support and personal experience as a mother of twins, Donni brings a unique blend of professional expertise and heartfelt understanding to every family.

MELISSA SMITH
RN, BSN
Melissa is originally from Ontario, Canada but moved down to Florida in 2011. A recent graduate RN but not new to taking care of babies with 2 boys of her own and 2 grandchildren. She is currently working her dream job in the NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital. Before going back to school and getting her RN degree, Melissa was a 911 dispatcher for EMS, Police and Fire depts. With this rich and diverse background, she is able to react in any emergency with a calm disposition to get the job done!
In her spare time, she loves riding their motorcycle with her husband and spending time with her kids & grandkids. She is looking forward to helping families with their new babies and getting to cuddle your little one as you can catch some much-needed rest!
