They have their BLS, maintain their CPR certification and have passed a criminal background check. Most of our nurses have one of the following certifications - PEARS, PALS, or NRP. The owner Katelynn personally interviews each RN and ensures each one is a strong fit for the company.

Chrissy Tanner
BSN, RN, CPN
Chrissy grew up in New Jersey before her family relocated to South Florida right before her high school years. After high school, she pursued her passion for healthcare at the University of North Florida, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Chrissy's story took a romantic turn during her very first week of college when she met her future husband. After graduating, Chrissy embarked on her nursing career in pediatrics at Wolfson Children's Hospital. Since then, she's rooted herself in Northeast Florida, building a life together with her husband and raising their five young, energetic children. Chrissy has been a nurse for almost ten years now and still works PRN at Wolfson's where she continues to make a difference, balancing her commitment to nursing with the joys of motherhood.
Though Chrissy's own children have outgrown the newborn stage, it remains one of her most cherished periods. She eagerly anticipates utilizing her nursing expertise and firsthand experience to support local families as they navigate the beautiful chaos of early parenthood.

ALLISON SHIRAR
BSN, RN
Allison is originally from Gulf Breeze, FL where most of her family still lives. She is the youngest of six and has 12 nieces and nephews. After high school, Allison graduated from Tallahassee with her bachelor's in Exercise Physiology from FSU. In 2019, she returned to school for her nursing degree from UNF. She is currently a NICU nurse and loves it. She has enjoyed calling Jacksonville her home for the past few years and in her free time, takes frequent trips to Amelia Island and St Augustine. In her free time she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and having game nights with friends. Allison and her husband just celebrated their 1 year anniversary of marriage and look forward to starting a family in the next few years.

MARY DOWNES
BSN, RN, NRP
Mary was born and raised in the sunny coastal town of Port Orange, FL. She developed a deep love for the beach from a young age. After graduating from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Mary embarked on a fulfilling career path driven by my passion for caring for infants and children.
Immediately following nursing school, Mary started her career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where she worked tirelessly alongside families to provide compassionate and expert care to the tiniest fighters. Every day in the NICU is a reminder of the resilience and strength of these little ones, and Mary is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.
Outside of her profession, Mary cherishes spending time with loved ones, relaxing on the beach with a book, and exploring new destinations.

SHELLEY LYNN
BSN, RN
Shelley Lynn is a Registered Nurse, wife, and mom of three. She graduated with her BSN from Auburn University (War Eagle!) in 2007. Her career began working in Pediatric Cardiology for five years before transferring to the Neonatal ICU. She has a passion for women’s and children’s health and finds joy in being part of such a special time in each families life.
She is originally from Alabama but moved to Jacksonville in 2022. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors, which usually consists of taking her children to the park, a day at the beach or by the pool.
As a mom and nurse she understands how challenging it can be bringing a newborn baby home. She is looking forward to using her experience and helping parents feel safe, confident and rested so they can be the best for each other and their sweet new addition to the family.

HAYLIE BUTLER
RN
Haylie is a native to Jacksonville, FL and attended Sandalwood High School. She began attending Florida State College at Jacksonville while in high school and then proceeded to earn her Associates Degree of Nursing there as well. She is now enrolled in the Bachelor’s of Nursing program at FSCJ and aspires to attend graduate school to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. Her passion to become a nurse started when she became a nanny at 16-years-old and she realized she wanted to help children at a larger capacity. Haylie continued to be a nanny throughout her college career, and still continues to take care of the same children when she can. She values the connections she makes with families and strives to nurture and continue the relationship even as the children grow older and start attending school.
Haylie is currently a pediatric nurse at Spark Pediatrics, a prescribed pediatric extended care center, and works hard to continue outpatient care to medically complex children. She also has medical/surgical/telemetry nursing experience as she worked for a year at the Baptist Heart Hospital in Downtown, Jacksonville. On Haylie’s days off she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. She is currently with her boyfriend of three years and they have plans to get married and have children of their own. One of her favorite places to visit is Colorado and her goal is to move there within the next 2-5 years. Haylie looks forward to meeting your family and providing compassionate care during one of the most special times of your life.

REENA TUPAS
BSN, RN, NRP
Reena was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States in her teens, where she continued her studies. She has been working in her dream specialty Labor & Deliver/ Postpartum department since 2022. She had found out early on in her time as a Nursing Student that she wanted to help care for babies and their mothers. Growing up in the Philippines, she was taught the value of family and its importance to one's life. After having been in a hospital setting for the past 4 years, she has gained valuable on-site experience and knowledge that has helped her become a caring, bright, and patient provider to her patients.
Reena is excited to help in jumpstarting the beginning of a baby’s wonderful life, one smile at a time.

ALLISON PHILIPS
BSN, RN
Allison is originally from the Midwest, now she is soaking up the sunshine in Florida. Her journey in healthcare began at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017. Since then, she has been fully immersed in the world of neonatal care, bringing compassion and expertise to the babies in the NICU. For the last seven years, Allison has been dedicated to providing compassionate care to newborns and their families. She couldn't imagine a more fulfilling career! In addition to her professional journey, Allison has also dedicated years to nurturing children through babysitting and nannying roles.
In 2021, she made the move to Florida to be closer to family, and continued her passion for NICU nursing here. When she’s not at the hospital, she’s loves spending time with family, especially her two nieces. She also enjoys time at the beach and reading. She is excited to have the opportunity to care for your little one and support your family along the way!

SHANNON BANNING
BSN, RN,
Shannon Banning is wife and a mother of 5 young children. Having been a nurse for 18 years, she has a diverse history of working in the pediatric and adult Emergency Room, pediatric home care, and nursing home care. Shannon is also an active member and volunteer in her church. Shannon loves children and particularly enjoys babies. She's eager to lovingly care for your baby and support you in your goals.

ARIELLE BRACY
BSN, RN, STABLE, NRP
Arielle is a Jacksonville native and resident who has been a nurse for four years and has been working in the NICU for three of those four years. Arielle has her NRP and BLS certification, and has a true passion for caring for all infants. In her free time, Arielle is a true social butterfly and loves discovering new places with her friends and family and is an avid foodie. Arielle cannot wait to be able to provide parents peace of mind and a good night’s sleep during the night time and be able to care for their babies just like they’re her own.

KRISTINA CART
RN, PEARS
Kristy is originally from Connecticut, just 30 minutes outside of New York City, where most of her family still resides. She and her husband, along with their three girls and dog, decided to make the move down to sunny Florida in the middle of a blizzard in 2015, and haven’t looked back. Raising her children was a priority for Kristy but as her daughters grew more independent, she began to reassess her goals, which is what led her to a career in nursing.
Kristy currently works at Wolfson Children's Hospital, where each day she is presented with new challenges and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of her patients and their families. Her background in raising children has given her an understanding of the unique needs of newborns and their families.
“I’m motivated by the opportunity to support families as they navigate the challenges and joys of welcoming a new baby. My goal is to use my skills and experience to contribute to the well-being of newborns and to help create a positive, nurturing environment for both infants and their families.

LACEY WEST
BSN, RN, STABLE, NRP, CPN, CPHON, PALS
Lacey is a registered nurse of 6 years, all of which has been in pediatrics. She began her career in Savannah, Georgia after attending college in Southeast Georgia where she was born and raised. She relocated back to the area to be closer to family where she has been working in pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant for the last 3 years. She is proud to work at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, where she herself received care as a child, inspiring her career at a young age.
In her time off of work she enjoys reading, playing piano, traveling, and spending time with her family. While she doesn’t have any children of her own yet, she has a 5 year old golden retriever that occupies nearly all of her off time. She is so excited to meet you and is honored to be entrusted with one of life’s most precious gifts, using her pediatric expertise to allow you as much well deserved and peaceful rest as possible.

STACY DOMINGER
BSN, RN, CPN
Stacy started her love of children early on, as she couldn’t wait to be old enough to babysit! She continued babysitting through high school and college, which lead to her career decision of Pediatric Nursing. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University, and moved to Jacksonville after getting married.
She has worked at Wolfson Children’s Hospital for over 20 years, and has loved every part of it! She has worked on a variety of floors, currently on a Neuroscience/GI floor. She compassionately cares for children
of all ages, but she especially loves the NICU grads and infants. Getting to know the family, guiding them through their child’s illness, and seeing the recovery brings her such joy. She was fortunate enough to take 8 years off to stay home while her 5 children were young. Play groups, fieldtrips, sports, and school functions became her focus.
Her family enjoys the beach, camping, kayaking, and just being together. Although her children are grown, she still remembers the early newborn days, and the challenges it brings. Giving families uninterrupted sleep gives them the ability to be more energetic to care for their precious new addition. She looks forward to meeting new families!

angela smith
BSN, RN,
Angela Smith is a dedicated Registered Nurse with a career spanning back to 2009, specializing in the care of mothers and babies. Since 2012, she has worked as a Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Nurse, providing compassionate support during one of life's most significant moments. A Jacksonville native, Angela has been married to her husband for 28 years, and together they have five children and three wonderful grandchildren. Her passion for her work shines through in her commitment to supporting the mothers and babies she cares for.

KAYLA UTSKY
BSN, RN, NRP
Kayla was born and raised in West Virginia. She received her first degree at West Virginia University in Human Nutrition. Knowing she wanted to work in the medical field, she went back to school for nursing and landed in Jacksonville! In her spare time, Kayla loves reading and spending time in the FL sunshine!
She is currently working her dream job at Baptist Beaches in Labor & Delivery/Recovery and Postpartum where she loves caring for mamas and their babies. Kayla can't wait to meet your little ones!

DEJANEE HARPER
RN, PEARS
DeJaneé has been a Registered Nurse since 2022. Eager to do what it takes to get to her dream unit (L&D) she spent her first year gaining experience in PCU where she mastered her core nursing skills. DeJaneé currently works in Labor and Delivery where her unit also cares for Postpartum patients.
DeJaneé was raised in New York and Jacksonville, spending most of her adult life in New York until moving back to Jacksonville permanently in 2016. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and finding different ways to incorporate self care into her life. DeJaneé is very passionate about the bonding stages between mother and baby. She also strives to help mothers achieve adequate rest during their hospital stays. Her ultimate goal is to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Psychiatry to help mother dealing with Postpartum Depression. She is estatic to provide a supportive environment for families and their new bundle of joy!

VERONICA LOPEZ
BSN, RN, PEARS, PALS, BLS
Veronica was born and raised in Miami, Florida, surrounded by her family and fruit trees. She graduated from Florida International University where she pursued a nursing career to fulfill her love of healthcare. Her initial introduction into the healthcare field revolved around adult patient care. A desire to expand her knowledge and exposure as a diverse nurse eventually led her to a pediatric job in the Tampa Bay area, fulfilling a long held dream. It was then that Veronica realized her true source of happiness was working with children. In an effort to maintain close proximity to family, Veronica relocated again when her family rebuilt in Northeast Florida.
Her passions include her four-legged chocolate brown daughter, as well as yoga, all-things nature, exploration, culture and food, reading, and spending time with loved ones. Her life’s mission is to be a forever student and a source of wisdom and light with healing hands.

ANGELA HAYNES
MSN, RN, BLS
Angela Haynes, MSN, RN has been a nurse for 16 years. She has been a nurse for 16 years, but she has worked in the medical field for 30 years. She worked as a postpartum/nursery nurse for 10 years and loved every second.
Angela is passionate about empowering parents by providing education about newborn care. Her love and adoration for education derives from giving birth to a 25-week-old neonate. Angela appreciates the opportunity to share her knowledge with parents.

erica mccarter
RN, BSN, BLS
Erica is a dedicated Registered Nurse, loving wife, and proud mother of four. Originally from northwest Indiana, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Calumet in 2015. Her nursing journey began in Labor and Delivery, where she discovered her passion for supporting families during life's most precious moments.
In 2016, Erica followed her calling to care for newborns by transitioning to the NICU, where she honed her skills in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to the tiniest and most vulnerable patients. In 2018, she and her husband relocated to sunny Florida, where she grew her family and continued her work in the NICU, bringing empathy and expertise to every family she served. Outside of nursing, Erica enjoys reading, gardening, beach days, and spending quality time with her
husband, children, and their golden retriever. Drawing from her experience as both a nurse and a mother, Erica is passionate about supporting families
and looks forward to caring for your baby so you can enjoy the rest and peace of mind you deserve.

LIANA ASPINWALL
BSN, RN, BLS
Liana was originally born and raised just outside of Boston, MA where almost all of her family still lives. She is the youngest of 3 siblings. After high school, Liana pursued her passion for being a healer and graduated from Baylor University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2022. After graduation, she moved from Dallas to Jacksonville to be close to her expecting sister while her brother-in-law was on deployment and has enjoyed calling the beach her home for the past 2 years.
She originally started her nursing career at Ascension Hospital on an orthopedic neurosurgery floor working with adults, and is now currently a pediatric RN and enjoys helping vulnerable, medically complex, and sick kiddos. In addition to her nursing career, she has spent many years nurturing children of all ages through camp counseling, VBS, previous newborn night nursing and nannying roles.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family & 2 year old niece, learning guitar, reading and writting, exploring new cities, catching up with friends and mentoring the youth girls at her local church. She has a passion for traveling underdeveloped countries and advocating for vulnerable people groups who have been affected by trauma and helping them reach their full potential. Liana is excited to meet your newest little one and utilize her nursing expertise while supporting your growing family during this exciting time in your life!

LAUREN BLANCHETTE

Lauren was born and raised in Boston, MA, until she was 15, when her family relocated to Boca Raton, FL. She completed her high school education there before pursuing her studies at the University of Central Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Psychology. After graduating, Lauren dedicated seven years to working as an ICU nurse in the Burn Unit at UF Health Shands. In her role as charge nurse, she provided care for burn patients in both the pediatric emergency room and the pediatric ICU. Additionally, she was involved in central staffing, gaining experience in various departments, including the NICU, PICU, and L&D.currently, Lauren is pursuing her doctorate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner while caring for her three young children at home. She cherishes spending time with her family, enjoying crafts with her kids, and planning fun adventures together. Lauren looks forward to getting to know you and your family, ensuring a smooth and joyful transition into motherhood with your baby.

PRISCILLA MEJIA

Priscilla, a Jacksonville native, holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Florida. With a passion for caring for the most vulnerable population, she has spent the past three years as a dedicated neonatal ICU nurse at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, where she specializes in providing expert care to newborns. Her experience in this high-acuity environment has equipped her with advanced clinical skills and a deep commitment to ensuring the well-being and growth of her tiny patients.
Priscilla is now eager to extend her expertise to families at home, offering a compassionate, knowledgeable approach to pediatric care. She prides herself on her ability to connect with both children and parents, providing not only medical support but also emotional reassurance. Her goal is to create a comforting, safe environment for families while offering the highest standard of care.
When not working, Priscilla enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two cats. She loves cooking, crafting with her Cricut machine, and diving into a good book.

Emily is a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in both critical care and pediatrics. With a background in military service and EMS, Emily brings a unique skill set and resilience to healthcare. Outside of work, Emily is a proud parent to a toddler and is eagerly anticipating the arrival of another baby, balancing family life with a passion for providing compassionate care.

EMILY GLIDDEN

Emily Glidden has lived in Florida her entire life and is a proud mother to her sons. With 11 years of experience in healthcare, she has spent the last 5 years working in pediatrics, where she has found immense joy in working with children of all ages. Emily is set to begin her bachelor’s program this year, with the ultimate goal of working in one of the pediatric hospitals in Orlando.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her boys and often heads out for karaoke nights with her friends.

KAYLANI KINLOCK
BSN, RN, PEARS, PALS, ACLS, BLS
Kaylani was born and raised in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida. From an early age, she was drawn to the world of healthcare, which inspired her to pursue an education at the University of Florida, where she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing.
During her time in school, Kaylani gained invaluable experience as a nurse extern in the emergency department and as a PCT on a medsurg-psych floor. Her dedication and hard work paid off when she challenged the LPN NCLEX just four months before graduation, allowing her to work in a rehabilitation center. Not long after graduating and becoming a registered nurse, Kaylani achieved her dream of working in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU).
Outside of her nursing career, Kaylani enjoys traveling and seeking adventure, often indulging in her love for skydiving. She cherishes time spent with friends and family, valuing the moments that make life truly meaningful. Kaylani is eager to provide families with peace, reassurance, and tranquility as they welcome their new bundles of joy!

JANINE BURROUGHS
BSN, RN, NRP
Janine, a Northwest Ohio native, earned her degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. After advancing her career and relocating to Tampa and Atlanta, she pursued her passion for healthcare. Graduating at the top of her class, she joined a high-risk labor and delivery unit at one of Atlanta’s largest hospitals, where she spent 10 years as a clinical manager, caring for mothers with complex pregnancies and leading initiatives that won national recognition.
In 2005, Janine returned to Ohio, expanding her expertise in postpartum and newborn care, becoming an NRP instructor, and supporting breastfeeding mothers. Her love for the South brought her back to St. Augustine in 2017.
Now, she cares for her 92-year-old mother and enjoys time with her grown children, beach outings, and hobbies like scrapbooking and cooking. Janine’s lifelong passion for helping others drives her to support and empower families, making their journey into parenthood smoother and more fulfilling.

ASIA ERWIN
BSN, RN
Asia has always loved babies, and has seen it as a true blessing to be able to care for them. She's been a nurse for 12 years and pediatric nurse for 9 years. Asia has also worked with medically complex pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. She understands the importance of parents being able to have support aside from in a hospital or doctor's office. Asia is married and has 2 toddlers of her own. She enjoys spending time with her children and watching them grow. In her spare time, Asia enjoys traveling, cooking, teaching and relaxing with her family. She can't wait to meet you and your family and lend a hand in any way she can.

BRITTANEY MCDONALD
BSN, RN, NRP, STABLE, BLS
Birttaney was born in Jamaica and moved to the United States as a child. She is an only child but comes from a big family. She has two bachelor’s degrees, one in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University and her second in Nursing from Jacksonville University. She has been working as a Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Nurse since 2022. Britaney has always had a passion for caring for others, starting as volunteer at a local hospice center in her hometown and then getting her EMT license. She has worked in many different specialties from primary care to urgent care but she discovered her passion for woman and babies working as a patient care assistant on a L&D unit. Throughout her professional career in healthcare, she has learned valuable skills on how to care for others and uses her knowledge on family structures and childhood development to tailor her care specifically to the families she cares for daily. As a nurse who cares for women and babies during those pivotal first few days Brittaney understands the ups and downs of caring for a newborn. She is hoping to use her skills and knowledge to help more parents during this transitional time, so that they can be the best they can be for their new beautiful additions to their families!
