Owner & Founder Katelynn Cotton is a Florida native and grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach. She now resides in St Augustine with her husband and their two littles, Liliana and Titan. At the ripe age of 19, Katelynn founded a babysitting company Sunny Sitters, where parents could count on reliable childcare with her screened babysitters. Fast forward to motherhood, she has definitely felt the negative effects of being a sleep deprived mom, especially during those first few weeks postpartum.

Each time after she delivered her babies, Katelynn would tell her husband, "the nurses were so helpful, I wish I could take them home with us!"

Driven by her own journey into motherhood, Katelynn founded Happy Baby Night Nurses formally known as Night Nurses Northeast FL with a clear mission- to offer reliable overnight care to families during one of life's most transformative periods. Families can feel at ease knowing their experienced night nurse will take great care of their newborn while parents can get a good night’s rest.

All of Night Nurse Northeast FL nurses have passed a background check, conducted a face-to-face interview and rigorous screening process, are insured and have experience in the one of the following departments - Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby Postpartum, NICU, or PEDS. Our nurses have their Basic Life Support certification and most of them have one of the following additional certifications- PEARS, PALS, or NRP. Katelynn would never hire a nurse she wouldn't trust handing her own babies over to.
