Mission Statement

At Happy Baby Night Nurses, our mission is to provide the highest level of exceptional overnight newborn care that builds lasting trust and comfort for every family—becoming the lifelong partner parents turn to for all things newborn and nanny support. We are dedicated to nurturing the unique bond between our highly skilled nurses, the families we serve, and the little ones we care for, ensuring that every night is filled with peace of mind, compassion, and the highest standard of care.

Every RN on our team undergoes rigorous screening, reference checks, and carries liability insurance. Each nurse is certified in infant CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS), with many holding advanced training in NICU, Pediatrics, Postpartum, and Newborn Resuscitation (NRP).

Trusted and recommended by pediatricians, OB/GYNs, and the many families we’ve served, we prioritize the safety, health, and well-being of both babies and parents. By combining clinical expertise with heartfelt compassion, Happy Baby Night Nurses gives families the reassurance to rest deeply, knowing their newborn is in the most qualified hands.

MEET THE OWNER

Founder and owner Katelynn Cotton is a Florida native and grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach. She now resides in St Augustine with her husband and their three littles, Liliana, Titan and Berkley. At the ripe age of 19, Katelynn founded a babysitting company Sunny Sitters, where parents could count on reliable childcare with her screened babysitters. Fast forward to motherhood, she has definitely felt the negative effects of being a sleep deprived mom, especially during those first few weeks postpartum.

Each time after she delivered her babies, Katelynn would tell her husband, "The nurses were so caring and helpful, I wish I could take them home with us!"

Driven by her own journey into motherhood, Katelynn founded Happy Baby Night Nurses with a clear mission- to offer reliable overnight care to families during one of life's most transformative periods. Families can feel at ease knowing their experienced and registered night nurse will take great care of their newborn while parents can get a good night’s rest.

All Happy Baby Night Nurses undergo a comprehensive vetting process, including a full background check, face-to-face interview, and rigorous screening. Each nurse is fully insured and brings professional experience from one or more of the following hospital departments: Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby Postpartum, NICU, or Pediatrics. Every nurse holds a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and most also maintain advanced certifications such as PEARS, PALS, or NRP.

Katelynn holds the highest standards—she would never hire a nurse she wouldn’t personally trust with her own children. In fact, she entrusted their newest addition, Berkley, to several of their very own Happy Baby Night Nurses.

Whether you reach out to us six months before your due date or find yourself in need of our services when your little one is already five weeks old and sleep is a precious commodity, rest assured, we're here for you. Our commitment to delivering an exceptional experience spans from the moment you first connect with us to every interaction thereafter. We're not just dedicated to providing stellar service; we're also focused on making a lasting, positive impact in our community.
